Welcome to 2024

October

I think that everyone would agree that the WIB volunteers have done  fantastic work in and around the village keeping the displays looking their best despite the best efforts of the British weather.

A huge thank you to the 600 residents who bought tickets for the Open Gardens in July. After a very damp start the sun shone and the gardens looked spectacular. The Bishops' Lodge was the hub for the day, a big thank you to the Bishop and to Phil for their help. The entertainment was provided by The Waltones who played tireless all day, The Monday Tia chi group gave a demonstration of their skills. The fabulous WOW WI worked tirelessly to provide  wonderful refreshments.

We also had additional stalls to keep us interested, Little Gems Flowers and a craft stall. It was a great success!

If you would like to see some of the gardens again they are featured in our 2025 calendar which is now available form our market stall or Browns' Newsagents. Still priced at £5 it make a great stocking filler or a gift for absent Wooltonians.

Please continue to support us.
